Two vaults, two data centres, one plan
Offsite storage vaults
Offsite media storage in UL Level 3 secure, environmentally controlled, and Halon Ansul protected storage vaults. The facilities are in St. Louis County and St. Charles County.
Online data centres
Private SaaS cloud servers housed in highly secure, restricted-access, compliance regulated SAS 70 Type II certified data centres in the city of St. Louis, Missouri and in Kansas City, Kansas.
Mirrored colocation
Your data is encrypted with military grade encryption and password protected before it leaves your server. Then it is sent to the primary server in St. Louis City, and an exact duplicate of your encrypted data is sent to the facility in Kansas City, Kansas. Your important data is safe, secure, and available to you 24/7.
All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest using AES-128, with a unique key that meets the government’s FIPS 140-2 standard for top-secret documents.

From a single file to an entire system
Small restores, remotely
Smaller data transfers are done remotely from any computer with internet access, within a few minutes.
Large restores, on disc
For larger amounts of data the internet cannot accommodate quickly, CompuVault can put your complete encrypted system backup on disc from our servers.
Delivered by courier
Secure, GPS tracked couriers deliver the disc to your Metro St. Louis location, usually within hours, for quicker recovery of your operations.

Before the cloud, there was the vault
CompuVault’s earliest website sold one thing: a highly secure, environmentally controlled computer media storage vault in the St. Louis metro area. These are its own navigation buttons and page graphics, recovered from the archive.

Ownership
CompuVault today
CompuVault, Inc. of St. Louis, Missouri was acquired by Access Corp., the world’s largest privately-held records and information management services provider. The acquisition was announced on 29 January 2020 as part of eleven US acquisitions completed during 2019.
The compuvaultstl.com domain now serves a parking page, which is why this rebuild exists.
